I come from a very technical background and have been responsible for technical sales for a few global companies. I decided that to have a 360 degree view of how businesses are run I need to move away from that area. That is how I started looking towards business analysis. Coming into SCL, they helped build the foundation. They have a “LEARN BY DOING” mantra.

I was taught the theory and the opportunity to implement what I have just learnt is immediately provided as they always have live projects to work on. One thing that I think helped me was my willingness to take on as many tasks as possible, sometimes even if it was not a BA specific role. So I often worked as a BA, PM, PMO analyst. The wealth of experience gained from this cannot be quantified. This also provided the confidence to be able to make a good impression at interviews because I was not just talking about what I had been taught, but was talking about the things I have actually done. I recently secured the role of a Business analyst in a reputable firm and I honestly wouldn't have been able to achieve this milestone without the training I received from working with Veronica at Sterling Careers.

I joined Veronica’s Program, with no knowledge of IT but knew I needed a change. Soon as I joined I worked on various projects and had the opportunity to learn skills for a hybrid role.
